Taynuilt Sports Facilities – General Terms and Conditions

1. Users shall have unlimited use of the booked facilities specified in the selected option subject to these standard booking conditions and restrictions

2. Use of the facilities are at your own risk.  

3. 1 hour notice must be given for all booking cancellations to allow for others an opportunity to use the time slot

4. Users must abide by specific instructions e-mailed to you following your confirmed booking

5. If a facility is already booked for the preferred time slot you must choose an alternative time slot or wait for an available time. 

6. Users must abide by all programming arrangements e.g. any closure dates set by the committee

7. TSC committee reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings to accommodate unforseen reasons that render the facilities unusable. Where possible the committee will try to resolve issues when the facilities are not in use. 

8. Refunds will be issued if the booking hasn’t been used and is claimed within the first 14 days following cancellation of the booking (by either party)

9. Payment rates and terms are reviewed annually (usually at or following the TSC AGM). However, the TSC committee reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time to ensure the facilities can be maintained at an acceptable standard and remain available for future use. 

10. Users should be aware that all TSC facilities are maintained by a voluntary committee drawn from Taynuilt and surrounding communities. Members of the committee will try to address any issues you may encounter with your booking but please respect any limitations to their response as a result of their voluntary capacity.  You may be liable to be asked to join the committee if your suggested solutions are better than those offered by the committee!   

11. TSC committee reserves the right to withdraw or refuse a booking if the booking system, or any of the above terms and conditions, are abused. 

Pavillion  Terms and Conditions

1. Key to main door of the Pavilion can be found in the safe to the right hand side of main door. Key safe code will be given on booking confirmation email

2. Please return the key to the safe box and lock it when leaving the premises. 

3. Please do not alter any of the heating thermostat settings unless instructed to do so by a committee member

4. In addition to the toilets accessed from inside the pavilion, there are toilets that can be accessed via external doors either side of the front door of the pavilion.  Keys to these doors are in the safe box to the left of the main door Key safe code will be given on booking confirmation email.

5. Kitchen facilities can be used as you find them.  Please switch off any electrical appliances after use and before you leave the building.  

6. Please report any breakages, faults or defects in the facilities by e-mailing Taynuiltsports@gmail.com or call 07759149437 so that we can put them right as soon as possible and before the next booking. The committee reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any damages arising from reckless use. 

7. Please do not pass on the key safe code to anyone other than those involved in your booking. 

All Weather Pitch  Terms and Conditions

1. Code for the padlock on access gate = Code will be given on booking confirmation email.

2. Please lock the gate as you found it when you have finished our session.

3. In summer months the pitch is set up as a tennis court. Please do not interfere with the tennis net unless it needs adjusting.  If so, please do not tighten the net excessively as this will snap the straining wire, which is difficult to replace. A net height measuring stick is available to ensure correct net height. 

4. In winter months the pitch is available for all other recreational activities appropriate for a synthetic sports turf. 

5. Flood lighting can be switched on after dark by accessing the switch box on rear wall of the Pavilion building using same padlock combination code (Key safe code will be given on booking confirmation email).  It is your responsibility to ensure the lights are switched off after your session has ended.    

6. Take care not to damage the all weather pitch.  Please report any damage or defects by e-mailing Taynuiltsports@gmail.com or call 07759149437 so that we can put them right as soon as possible and before the next booking. The committee reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any damages arising from reckless use. 

7. Please vacate the pitch promptly once your booked session has ended, particularly if the next user/s is waiting to start their session. 

8. Please do not pass on the padlock combination code to anyone other than those involved in your booking. 

Grass Pitch  Terms and Conditions

1. The grass pitch is for playing ball games.  Other uses are acceptable at the TSC committee’s discretion.  Please e-mail taynuiltsports@gmail.com or call 07759149437 if you intend to use the pitch for a non-ball game purpose.  This includes golf. 

2. Arrangement can be made to line the pitch for a match if sufficient advance notice is given.  A committee member will advise how this can be done. 

3. Excessive use, particularly after, or during, a period of wet weather, can render the pitch unplayable. The TSC committee reserves the right to cancel a booking or withdraw pitch availability in the event of damage or excessive use of the pitch in order to allow it to recover. Please report any damage or defects by e-mailing Taynuiltsports@gmail.com or call 07759149437 so that we can put them right as soon as possible and before the next booking. The committee reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any damages arising from reckless use. 

4. Users are responsible for any equipment (e.g. goals) required for playing on the pitch other than the existing permanent goal posts.  This includes removing and storing the equipment as appropriate at the end of the booked session.  

5. Cycling or driving on the grass pitch is prohibited other than machinery sanctioned by the TSC committee for maintaining the pitch. 

6. If changing facilities are also required for your booking please ensure you book the pavilion at the same time as your grass pitch booking.
